Privacy policy

Last updated 27 October 2026

The short version: we collect what you type into the enquiry form so we can answer it, we do not sell it to anyone, and you can have it deleted by asking. The rest of this page is the detail behind those three sentences.

Who we are

Open Arch Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“OpenArch”, “we”) is a software studio based in Mumbai, India. This policy covers openarch.in and the enquiry form on it.

901, 9 Crystal, R B Mehta Marg, Ghatkopar East

What we collect

When you send us a brief. The form asks for your name, your email address, and a description of the project. It also offers optional fields: your company, the closest practice, your business type, team size, rough budget and timeline. Only the name, email, project type and the brief itself are required.

We do not ask for a phone number. If you write one into the brief, or message us on WhatsApp, we hold it because you chose to send it.

What your browser sends. Like any website, ours receives your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you open and the site you arrived from. Our host keeps these briefly in operational logs.

Where you came from. If you arrive through an advertisement or a tracked link, the campaign parameters in the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and the click identifiers Meta and Google add) are kept for the length of your visit and attached to your brief, so we know which campaigns bring real enquiries.

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the whole purpose. Your brief arrives as an email in our inbox and a person answers it.

The optional fields help us understand the shape of the work before we reply, so the first conversation is useful rather than a round of basic questions. The campaign parameters tell us which advertising is worth continuing. Neither is used to build a profile of you.

We do not send marketing email. There is no newsletter and no automated sequence - if you hear from us, it is because you wrote to us first.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with the services that make this site work, and only so far as they need it:

  • Resend delivers your brief to our inbox as an email. It handles the contents of the form.
  • Vercel hosts the site and processes the request. It sees your IP address and the usual server log data.
  • Meta receives page views and events from the Meta Pixel on this site, which we use to measure our advertising. This is the one place where data about your visit goes to a company that uses it for its own purposes as well as ours. Any browser setting, extension or consent tool that blocks it will stop it, and the site works normally without it.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) if you choose to message us there. That conversation is governed by WhatsApp’s own terms, and it shows us your phone number.

We will also disclose information if the law requires it. We would rather tell you that plainly than leave it out.

How long we keep it

  • Your brief and our replies stay in our email for as long as the conversation is useful, and for up to 24 months after the last message. Then they are deleted. If the enquiry becomes a project, the records that belong to that project are kept for as long as our contract and Indian tax and company law require.
  • The draft in your browser. The form saves what you have typed so you do not lose it by navigating away. It never leaves your browser, it is cleared the moment you send, and it is gone when you close the tab.
  • Server logs are kept by our host for a short operational window and are not archived by us.
  • Meta’s own records are kept under Meta’s retention rules, which we do not control.

Your choices

Write to connect@openarch.in and ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will do it. You do not need to give a reason, and asking costs you nothing.

If you would rather not be measured by the Meta Pixel, block it with your browser’s tracking protection, an ad blocker, or your device’s privacy settings. Nothing on this site stops working.

You can also reach us without the form at all - email us directly, or send a message on WhatsApp.

Cookies and browser storage

We set no cookies of our own. The site uses your browser’s session storage for two things: the draft of your brief, and the campaign parameters from the link you arrived on. Both are per-tab and both disappear when you close it.

The Meta Pixel sets its own cookies when it loads. Blocking it stops those too.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We will not quietly broaden what we do with your data and leave the date where it was.
